Quite an imagination

We had dinner last night at Chili's and when we sat down Drew told us her "giant ghost friend" (actual phrase used) was going to eat dinner with us. She asked us where he could sit, we told her in the 4th seat (where we had to move our purses and diaper bag). We asked her what his name was, she told us "Alice." And then we had to shake his hand and offer him some of our food and drink. 

Her other imaginary friend is Susan from Monsters and Aliens, who is 50 feet tall and requires batteries. Every so often we catch Drew pushing a stool into Boppa's office so she can reach the batteries and put more into Susan's back.

She's found my jewelry box from the 80s.

What to do on rainy days in the OC...

...jump on Grammy and Boppa's bed,

...sing and dance in the family room,

...put on puppet shows,

...play a little airplane,

 

...watch the rain fall and wish we were riding our tricycle,

 

...build a fort with blankets and poker chairs,

...and do a little gymnastics.

The Princess and The Haircut

Much to her Daddy's dismay, she loves to play dress-up. She even has her heels on!

She got a little haircut this week and posed for a few glamour shots with her new bob do!

Drew Story of the day

Last night, Drew was walking around with one pant leg up, one down, a la LL Cool J:

We laughed and asked her what gang she represented. She turned around and said "The Lollipop Guild." I didn't put 2 and 2 together until Jeremy reminded me that the song goes:
