"I'm wee-weeing!"
(or some form)
We are entering into Week 2 of successful potty training. Since I am back at work full-time, I can't take any of the credit, except for maybe not buying diapers or pull-ups when we ran out last weekend.
Texts between my mom and me as of late have looked like this:
Monday, Mom: "after a few hours of wet panties, crying and screaming about not wanting to go poopie in her potty, she finally went after lunch (a rather larger poop) in Boppa's room. So she got her present of dollhouse bedroom furniture. She was very excited and proud of herself after fighting it for 2 hours. I would have taken a picture of the poop in the potty but decided that it would be really gross."
Me: "Yay!"
Tuesday, Mom: "2 poopies in the panties :( Has stayed dry though."
Me: "At least she is wee-weeing."
Thursday, Mom: "dry all day and a poop in the potty."
Me: "Maybe we should go to Soup Plantation to celebrate." (for the record "soup plan-playtion" is Drew's favorite restaurant)
Friday: "Drew just went poop. We are going to friends' house to watch the Laker game."
To date we have only really had 1 and 2 half accidents since last Wednesday. And she is now only wearing nighttime pull-ups for naps and bedtime.
Hallelujah!
